In 2019, Anthony founded gray data inc., an Ohio-based cryptocurrency mining company that has since grown to three Ohio locations with 75 megawatts of total power capacity. The company was one of the largest Ethereum miners. Anthony was exclusively responsible for transforming gray data from purely a miner into an energy company that also mines cryptocurrencies.
Additionally, Anthony studied accounting and worked on Wall Street at a hedge fund. He has more than a decade of experience trading equity, debt and derivative securities as well as commodity futures and more than five years trading cryptocurrencies.
Anthony blends a unique combination of hands-on technical experience acquiring and deploying high performance computing equipment and infrastructure with a proven track record of success in analyzing financial markets and implementing strategies to take maximum advantage of opportunities within those markets.
Matt joined gray data in 2020 with responsibility for legal compliance, risk management, human resources, strategy, and planning. Prior to joining gray data, Matt had a multi-decade career in law and business. Matt earned his B.S. at Cornell University.
Matt then returned to school and earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law. After law school, Matt was associated with highly regarded law firms, Cravath, Swaine & Moore; Skadden Arps; and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where his practice focused primarily on mergers & acquisitions.
Matt worked on transactions as Johnson & Johnson’s acquisition of Neutrogena, Exxon’s merger with Mobil, and many others. Matt applies this broad experience to help gray matter navigate complex negotiations, intricate contractual arrangements and legal compliance in the fast evolving regulatory environment in which HPC operates.
Jing extensive experience and skill to his role directing gray matter’s offices in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Jing holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China.

In cross-border transactions, Jing bridges the cultural gap between his Chinese clients and their overseas counterparties and helps them understand and navigate the unique obstacles that these complicated multi-jurisdictional deals often present. In a procurement assignment, Jing exhaustively researches all available options, aggressively negotiates price, personally inspects and tests output and ensures that goods are shipped in a cost effective, timely manner.
